Headaches

Headaches can vary from the common tension headache to full blown migraine. Many times the muscular system is involved through increased muscular tension and/or trigger points in the neck and base of the skull. Pain in the head, when referred by muscles, generally comes from the ones in the neck and when we examine a person for trigger points and find one – the headache pain will be immediately recreated.
We will then look to improve the range of motion of the head and neck through soft tissue work and will help guide our patients/client through gentle range of motion exercises that will help them throughout the days between appointments.
Generally a person will see significant improvements within the first few visits.
